Pipeline Match

Salesforce clients have the option to sync Salesforce opportunities with Priority Engine, enabling them to quantify Priority Engine's impact on pipeline. This is a complimentary feature that can be activated by Priority Engine Administrators with just a click and have the Priority Engine Insights Widget installed. Here's how it works:

  • Get started by toggling the Allow pipeline data sync button in Priority Engine. Your opportunity sync pipeline impact data will be available within 7 business days after data has been synced.

Priority Engine will then display your Salesforce opportunity stages and close probabilities within the ROI Dashboard and is totaled in the summary section for easy access:

Priority Engine will continuously sync with Salesforce in real-time whenever a page containing the Priority Engine Widget is opened and will analyze which opportunities in Salesforce have contacts that have been influenced or exported from Priority Engine.

You can connect the expected revenue from each stage of your pipeline to the active or exported accounts in Priority Engine.

This section includes both open opportunities and closed/won opportunities by the following conventions:

  • Open Opportunities
    • Modified within the last 90 days.
    • Must match an active account within Priority Engine.
    • Must have been impacted by a content marketing email, an ad impression or exported from Priority Engine.
  • Close/Won Opportunities
    • Includes all closed/won opportunities since the beginning of your current subscription.
    • Must be marked as closed/won after the account was designated as active in Priority Engine.
    • Must have been impacted by a content marketing email, an ad impression or exported from Priority Engine.

Stage

The stages of your pipeline are directly imported from your Salesforce.com instance. Each stage can be dropped down for further detail on the following categories:

  • Opportunity Name
  • Account Name
  • Opportunity Owner
  • Projected Revenue

Projected revenue for Priority Engine accounts at each pipeline stage is calculated based on your close probability and revenue inputs in Salesforce.

*Close Probability: The probability of closing an account at each stage is directly imported from your Salesforce.com instance. These percentages are used to calculate the expected revenue for each account at each stage.

Projected Revenue

Each opportunity section is prioritized by revenue potential from largest to smallest. Expected revenue is first calculated at the individual level using the following formula:

  • (Stage close probability) x (Salesforce.com Revenue) = Expected Revenue

Account expected revenue values are summed at each stage to provide the stage expected revenue as follows:

  • ∑Expected Revenues at each Stage = Stage Expected Revenue

The stage expected revenue is then summed to provide the total Projected Revenue seen in the Summary KPI's section:

  • ∑Stage Expected Revenues = Total Projected Revenue

In order to take advantage of these features, you must have the Priority Engine Insights Widget installed and activate Salesforce opportunity syncing. This can be accomplished by toggling the Allow pipeline data sync button in your Priority Engine ROI Dashboard.
