How is the Inbound Converter Installed?

Inbound Converter is enabled by embedding a short line of JavaScript onto your website pages. Once enabled, Priority Engine will monitor IP addresses coming to your website and sync in real-time. Accounts are then ranked in priority order based on recent and relevant purchase intent signals. To the extent you might be monitoring pages in foreign languages, you may see these pages appear in Priority Engine using the localized language of the Page Title.

Your Customer Success Manager can monitor the performance to ensure we are seeing traffic flowing through correctly.

Note that the Inbound Converter pixel is built to be lightweight so there should not be any impact on the load speed of your site.

  • We recommend using a tag management tool for ease of set-up and control, for example, Google Tag Manager.
  • We recommend tagging only Sales and Marketing pages, instead of pages not meant to support clients/non-prospects. For example, we do not recommend tagging sign-in pages, privacy policy pages, or career pages. This helps to ensure Priority Engine returns accounts that are prospective clients and those researching your solutions.
